Austin McLellan has published fiction at Akashicbooks.com, and n Stepaway Magazine, the Monarch Review, and Recovery Magazine. His drama King Henry, Mayor was a finalist in the 2014 Tennessee Williams Play Contest. A new story, The Takeover, will appear in Writing Disorder, (Fall 2021). He also writes business journalism about healthcare privacy issues, technology, medical devices ,etc. In a previous life, Austin taught English and writing at universities in Asia, Europe, and the United States. He has also operated an art gallery, developed software, and acted in various stage productions. Austin lives in Memphis, Tennessee, where he writes and does healthcare consulting, real estate, etc. He has a BA, Philosophy from Rhodes College; an MA in Literature from the University of Memphis.
